This year, we joined the celebration of the Erasmus+ Week to remind once again: international opportunities are not about distant countries, but about development that begins here and now.💫
📍During the event we:
✅shared stories of youth exchanges held in Poland, Spain, Austria, Azerbaijan and Hungary, and also announced future ones;
✅presented our Erasmus+ projects: Teach Peace Project , Female Refugees for Entrepreneurship , Resilient Europe and Eco-Guardians🌱
✅presented volunteering opportunities within the European Solidarity Corps and open recruitments to Portugal and Turkey within our You Future project
✅The International Department of Uzhhorod National University presented academic mobility opportunities for students;
✅developed soft skills during a simulation game, where participants got into the role as much as possible, recreating the complex dynamics of the community and the interaction of various stakeholders who were “fighting” for space in the city.
🔎We saw the willingness of young people to take responsibility and effectively advocate for their interests. The key skills demonstrated—strategic thinking, lobbying and advocacy, effective communication, and teamwork—are a necessary foundation for youth leaders and directly contribute to shaping a society ready for challenges.
📍The event was held within the framework of the project “RESILIENT EUROPE: Improving the response of youth workers and leaders in post-crisis contexts” of the Erasmus+ program with the support of the European Union.
