The Institute of Music and Creative Industries is a public educational institution dedicated to music education and creative industry research. All study programs are accredited by the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education, ensuring high academic and professional standards. Alongside education, the Institute actively participates in social, humanitarian, volunteer, and project-based initiatives that connect the academic community with society. It organises music festivals, seminars, and masterclasses, creating opportunities for learning, artistic growth, and collaboration among young musicians and industry professionals.A key focus of the Institute is empowering young people through music and promoting inclusion by integrating individuals with special needs into cultural events. Through partnerships with organisations, cultural centres, concert halls, and theatres, the Institute supports cultural development in Zagreb and across Croatia. Special attention is given to smaller and less-developed communities, including island regions, where the Institute works to promote access to music education and artistic expression.
